The Kentucky Wildcats and Alabama Crimson Tide have released their first injury reports ahead of Saturday’s clash at Kroger Field.

For the Cats, the big news is that running back Jovantae Barnes is not on the injury report, so he’s good to go.

The same is true for starting cornerbacks Terhyon Nichols and Hasaan Sykes, as well as starting right tackle Malachi Wood. None of those three played in Week 1 but did dress out.

All of the other Wildcats listed are reserves who weren’t expected to be on the two-deep depth chart this season.

As for Alabama, the injury situation is a little more significant. Wide receiver Noah Rogers remains out after missing Week 1. The NC State transfer was projected to be a major player for the Tide offense this season,

Meanwhile, starting right guard Michael Carroll is doubtful to play. That would be a big loss for Alabama’s offensive line, as he was the team’s most experienced lineman entering the season.
