Benin will look to upset the established order in their group at the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025).

The Squirrels were dealt a tough hand in the draw, landing in Group D alongside a World Cup regular (Senegal) and a play-off qualifier (DR Congo).

Preview

Benin are set to make their fifth appearance at the CAN after previous participations in 2004, 2008, 2010 and 2019.

Their best performance so far remains their quarter-final qualification in the 2019 edition, held in Egypt.
