European club hoping to have top striker available for Barcelona clash in Champions League
Before signing Gabriel Jesus, Barcelona were linked with a move for multiple other strikers across Europe.
One of them was Victor Osimhen, who was creating quite the buzz among fans due to his prolific goalscoring record in both Serie A and the Turkish Superlig.
That is why it was even more interesting when Barcelona drew Galatasaray in their group in the Champions League and are slated to play against them on October 13.
Osimhen, though, was largely expected to miss the clash after recently picking up a groin injury. A recent report from Sporx, though, has claimed otherwise.

According to the Turkish news outlet, Galatasaray are hoping to have Osimhen back into action against the Champions League game against Barcelona.
The striker had picked up a groin injury during the recent win against Basaksehir earlier this month and had subsequently missed the first UCL game of the season against Sporting CP.
Galatasaray are banking on Osimhen to return to action for the Barcelona, as they consider him a vital part of the club’s attacking setup.
The Nigerian international, who was linked with a move to Barcelona, has already racked up four goals in six league matches so far and could give Galatasaray a huge boost in the Barcelona clash.
Not the only threat for Barcelona

Even if Osimhen fails to make it in time for the Barcelona clash roughly a month from now on, the Catalans will still have to worry about Galatasaray’s attacking firepower.
The Turkish giants, after all, had signed Rafael Leao this summer from AC Milan while managing to keep hold of Osimhen.
The club also boast the services of the experienced Leroy Sane while in midfield, they have technically adept players such as Lucas Torreira, Mario Lemina and former Barcelona star, Ilkay Gundogan.
Barcelona, therefore, have a fight on their hands when they take on Galatasaray next month.
